Recycle Devon

Would you like money to help reduce the amount of rubbish your school sends to landfill and / or promote waste and recycling education?   Devon Authorities now offer schools the opportunity to apply for a grant for up to £1,500. Grants can be used in a variety of ways:

  • to set up composting and recycling systems in your school;
  • educate your pupils about composting and recycling; and
  • transport costs for visiting waste and recycling facilities.

The latest Waitrose Community Matters initiative is aimed at encouraging 7-11 year olds in local schools to grow their own produce and sell it outside our stores to our customers.
